Officer down
I responded to a shoot-out on a busy street tonight and it was nuts. Some guy stole a car, led police on a high-speed chase and then thought it would be a good idea to shoot at them while completely surrounded. It didn't work out too well for him. I got there right after the shooting, which left three cops and the suspect injured. I would say a conservative estimate of the cop cars at the scene is around fifty. It was surreal. However, it is very late and I have Spanish class at 9 a.m. tomorrow, so I will have to fill in the gaps of that story and the past few days tomorrow.
