Why I love TV news
The entire 10 O'clock local news broadcast here, save five minutes for weather and the New Orleans Saints' score, was about the LSU football team playing for the national championship, no exaggeration.
Fortunately not much happened tonight. I only had to cover an 18-wheeler carrying a propane tanker sliding down an embankment and jack-knifing, killing the driver when the propane tank detached and crushed the cab of his truck, a train derailment involving 9 cars carrying "unknown substances" and at least four major house fires.
Tired, very tired.
